They advised that the order is coming directly from the supplier and therefore the tracking is now with them. I really thought this problem could be sorted by just changing the filling of the cushions But NO. Purchased the Ashford sofa from next in April After three delays I was sent wrong colour and material for my sofa. Ordered a personalised sleepsuit and various other clothing items for my daughter who is due in 10 days. I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years, but not anymore. Not good. I ordered a bed from them over 7 weeks ago, with the intention of delivery coinciding with my house move. I noticed on the news a Leicester factory is being investigated for illegal practices and as Next's headquarters are in Leicester i'm wondering if this scandal is involving Next and they have shut off all customer services. I ordered 2 T shirts 3 weeks ago to pickup in store , what is difficult about that you're thinking. I therefore used the number the store had given me to call next again. The website doesn't answer my particular questions and I can find no way to cancel Hermes. It is very deceiving and i am surprised as Next used to be a great company. I made an order which has been put as "left warehouse" and would be delivered last week but nothing has happened and i can't get through to any customer services, the phone line cuts me off. Appx 10 weeks ltr the right sofa was delivered but took three more changes for the right pouffee to be delivered. When I requested the fittings they sent them for the wrong stools! I am trying to return 2 tops, but cannot find a dispatch note, I don't think there was one as I've kept all the paperwork. I have recently experienced numerous outright lies from supervisors at the customer care centre confirmed as lies by managers in the stores. Next, we don't need you, so lose the attitude. Goodness do we have to Do this virtually every time the cushions are sat on , Answer yes. Tried all day to speak to customer service or online chat,with no success at all. This is making them look extremely bad. I was confused - is a double bed just going to turn up on my driveway? Wish I had read the reviews before ordering. A once great company, that I fear, is now just on the edge of falling like so many before it, which is really sad. The other items came the following day. I hand on heart would never order from here again. I can totally agree with all the bad reviews on here. The following day, I received a text message advising that my order had been dispatched. Eventually I had to drive 14 miles 28 miles return to my nearest next home store, where someone managed to get me through to the helpline. Lies are told. Next is not what is used to be. Now I read the terrible reviews and realise something has gone seriously wrong with Next. Then the fun starts then whenyou try and get in touch. Wanted to order some holiday clothing. At this stage I was fuming and was advised by the next team to reschedule my day to receive the bed, and someone would call me the following day to compensate me. Hours past, no phone call back. I have no idea what has happened to Next over the last year or so but this company has been ruined by someone or something high up the chain. The call centre staff member I use the term staff in a very lose sense clearly didn't care that they were losing loyal customers of many years standing. And please Next stop using the 'due to the current situation excuse!!!!!! Have used next online successfully for several years but have never bothered with the sale. My wife had a one hour fifty minute wait in fairness this did, eventually, involve their call back only for my wife to be spoken to by a very rude person who clearly didn't want to work for Next, so was providing a poor service. They actually deserve minus stars for their dreadful customer service, which is just the latest example, being the straw that broke the camel's back. If I could put zero stars I would. We have used Next in stores and online for 25 years. I arranged Hermes courier collection then realised some of the essential paperwork was missing. I have been trying to rectify a mistake they made for nearly 8wks. They literally do not care at all for their customers. Thank you. I therefore move around my work commitments this was on a Friday and received the bed. I have been chasing it every day since then. We will not be doing that again. We have purchased Sofas from various furniture stores and never had a problem like this. Website freezing , for an international company would have thought they had this covered. Lovely people on the phone but terrible service , since this have heard same stories from friends about next sofa delivery! Will not be back. After numerous attempts to place website order I gave up. Absolute disgusting service from such a well known retailer. Even if they haven't been made surly it doesn't take 3 weeks. I can't even cancel. I agree it was nearly double the size it was And felt better to sit on. Maybe they are legally not able to say anything to customers but they should NOT be taking orders they have not got in their factories, especially if the factory is under investigation for slave labour rather than using the virus as an excuse. He said to do this regularly To achieve the desired affect. I was told I would receive a call back. Dated 7th July After a long 4 month wait , finally a Service Technician from Next furniture came to access our problem with the cushions on the Houghton Sofa. All items showing were showing in stock but still no up to date delivery information showing on my account.{/INSERTKEYS}{/PARAGRAPH} Surprise surprise no one called me the following day! Lied to by staff and emails ignored. As a result my wife demanded a refund on the money on the account and asked her to close the account. Had two delivery dates arranged only for nobody to ring or turn up. Perhaps they no longer issue dispatch notes? Ordered my son a bed in February. I can buy the same cheap tat from amazon for a fifth of the price and without the extortionate interest, and none of the stress. Next not sending orders? Great design range. Cushions nothing like the ones displayed in store Technician removed the filling, Gave it a good shake, banged it on the floor, plumping it up etc. They should have the decency to at least stop taking orders for now if they are unable to fulfill them, people are paying hard earned money for sale items and regular priced items and Next is taking payments knowing they cannot fulfill orders. As most of their issues had been blamed on the supplier, I decided to have a look at the suppliers website as I felt like I had placed the order directly with them rather than next. Since the above I have used the number for my local store and managed to speak to an agent, who tells me no paperwork is needed to go in the parcel or to return to store, all info is on the return label, which I have attached to something called a Lipsy label. Technician said, thats what Casual Comfort Cushions are like, but the ones in store are not like that at all. Do yourself a favour and buy furniture from a furniture shop. However, my order had completely disappeared from my account - ie. Looking at the reviews I think the only way to get any response from next is to go in store which makes you wonder why you bothered online. But my daughter was starting a new job so ordered several items on the first day of sale -1st July- only to have an order confirmation email to say delivery date of on or before 12th August! Never again will I order from next not sending orders but saying I've returned them not even answering emails this is the second bad experience I should have learnt a lesson but decided to give them another chance. I notice that Next are still advertising and encouraging people to buy products from them knowing that the customers will have long wait times to receive orders and maybe never receive them. I have received 2 emails the first confirmation of my order and the second they will be delayed. {PARAGRAPH}{INSERTKEYS}Absolutely dreadful service. Just this morning a customer service agent hung up on me I could understand if I was being rude, but I was perfectly polite and now their phone lines keep cutting me off. Will never use them again. This was my first time ordering furniture from next home and I was not worried in the slightest as always viewed next as a reputable company - how could I be so wrong?! Problem was awful sagging of the seat cushions Which was apparent from it being delivered. So if you ever want to buy a sofa from Next Make sure you buy a display one , as they appear to have a different standard of cushion. On a plus point saved me lots of money. Returned a week ltr and another wrong sofa. I may have to just keep 2 unsuitable tops! Excellent service today at Castleford Junction I arrived after closing but the staff dealt with my parcel and were so helpful. The reason I ordered fr Next was because I could return by courier as I'm still self isolating and don't want to go out.
